Board owner wanted a copy of his foam short board. Told him w/o his old board this was going to be difficult at best. He sent a very accurate drawing and profiles from three ribs. The drawing was perfect as were the ribs. I was able to draft out on shop floor it's profile and mock up the other ribs with the three rib drawings he provided.
This board has been a challenge. I needed 4.75" nose rocker in the span of about 20". As much as Cedar likes to bend it was not that easy. More pictures forthcoming.
Worlds First: I've been looking for a way to create a historical record for our boards, something that will last. My wife and I were talking about it and she, a quilter, said she has seen an article about adding QR code to quilts. EUREKA! So this is, to my knowledge and Google searching, the first surfboard with a QR code.

There has to be a better way |
